Supporting the UKAHT
I'm pleased to announce our second event in support of the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT) — an online Antarctic Photography Workshop taking place on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, from 18:00 to 19:15 GMT.
Our live, interactive session will share our experience of working in some of the world’s most challenging and inspiring environments. Together, we’ll explore practical approaches to photographing in extreme conditions, and how these techniques can be applied to a wide range of photographic settings.

Why We Support the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust
The UKAHT works to protect and share the remarkable heritage of Antarctica. The charity cares for six historic British-built bases on the Antarctic Peninsula, including Port Lockroy, once a research station and now a living museum and post office.
Their work preserves not only the physical sites but also the stories of the people who lived and worked there. As photographers, we value that same spirit of storytelling and discovery - and supporting the UKAHT allows us to contribute to the preservation of a place that continues to inspire science, art, and exploration.
About the Workshop
During this 75-minute webinar, we will share insights and guidance on:
Choosing and packing the right kit
Protecting gear in tough conditions
Clothing and field essentials
Simple daily exercises to sharpen your eye
Composition techniques that break routine
Confidently using manual camera controls
Managing and securing files on the move
Live Q&A session
The workshop is designed for photographers of all levels who are interested in improving their technical and creative skills while supporting a meaningful cause.
Tickets & Gift Options
Tickets start at £15, with additional donation and gift options available — including signed books and limited-edition prints. Every ticket supports the UKAHT and its ongoing conservation work in Antarctica.

A Shared Commitment
For us, photography is as much about observation and understanding as it is about creating images. Working with the UKAHT gives us the opportunity to combine that perspective with support for an organisation that safeguards the stories and environments that continue to inspire so much of our work.
We look forward to welcoming you in January for an evening of learning, reflection, and shared appreciation for the extraordinary landscapes of Antarctica.
