I'm pleased to announce that I will be one of several international photographers, including Sue Flood, participating in “My Message from the Poles,” an upcoming group exhibition brought together by the inspiring Laurent Mayet of the polar think-tank Le Cercle Polaire and Galerie Basia Embiricos, Paris.
Long preserved by their remoteness, the high Arctic and Antarctic, our last unspoilt lands and seas, are now threatened by a changing climate and global geopolitical unrest. These regions have long inspired photographers and artists worldwide, and our mission is to capture their evolving narratives.
The exhibition launches on the 28th of March at Galerie Basia Embiricos (14 rue des Jardins Saint-Paul) also with an outdoor exhibit in the heart of Paris, before it travels onwards to Norway and New Zealand.
Many thanks to Laurent for bringing us all together to share our 'Messages from the Poles' and inspire a deeper understanding of these fragile regions. Further updates to follow soon.
